Presque partout (Almost Everywhere), 20 years of our Collection

Februari 22 until August 18

curated by Fanny Gonella.

This exhibition revolves around a perennial question: the ever-shifting dialogue between an artwork and its environment. 20 years after it opened its doors to the public, the Frac Lorraine in Metz explores how different contexts determine the way audiences access art.
Artist Soshiro Matsubara has designed a labyrinthine installation for the FRAC Lorraine spaces. This architecture will provide a new context for presenting works from the this collection.

With works from the Frac Lorraine collection by Diana Blok & Marlo Broekmans, Katinka Bock, Mark Cohen, Lili Dujourie, Hélène Fauquet, Margaret Harrison, Margaret Honda, Dorothy Iannone, Nina Könnemann, David Lamelas, Carol-Marc Lavrillier, Joshua Leon, Ghislaine Leung, Luzie Meyer, Meret Oppenheim, Bruno Pélassy, Gianni Pettena, Charlotte Posenenske, Josephine Pryde, Sarah Rapson, Georgia Sagri, Yuu Takamizawa, Jean-Luc Tartarin, Kathleen White, Ian Wilson.
